AUGUSTA AFTER DARK

2026

Augusta, Georgia

My team and I led the experiential design for DraftKings’ Augusta After Dark, an exclusive, invite-only event created in partnership with Sports Illustrated and presented by Venmo and Velocity Black during one of golf’s most iconic weeks.

We developed a cohesive visual and spatial language inspired by the traditions of Augusta, blending classic golf heritage with elevated hospitality and nightlife energy. The goal was to create a unified environment that could seamlessly span multiple touchpoints—from intimate lounge moments to high-impact branded installations—while still allowing each partner to show up authentically within the experience.

Across the event, we designed and produced a comprehensive suite of assets, including large-scale spatial elements like the illuminated entryway, tunnel experience, bar builds, and photo moments, as well as detailed collateral such as menus, signage, credentials, and custom-branded accessories. The design system extended throughout the entire property, ensuring consistency across every guest interaction—from arrival to departure.

We also integrated interactive and hospitality-driven environments, including a Venmo-branded golf simulator, curated lounge spaces, and gameplay moments that reinforced the event’s connection to the sport while enhancing guest engagement.

The result was a fully immersive, design-forward experience that elevated DraftKings’ presence during Masters week—bringing together premium hospitality, cultural relevance, and a cohesive brand world that resonated across guests, partners, and talent alike.
